Children and Youth All Age Services Every Sunday we have an All Age Service in church at 10.30am. This is a short (about 1 hour) time of Worship and Bible teaching for everyone who enjoys a more informal service style, enabling adults and children to worship God together through music, prayer, teaching and active participation, as we seek to grow together in our faith in Jesus. During the All Age service we split into groups within the church building, for Crèche/Pre-school, Key Stages 1, 2 and 3, and Adults. There is a short time of teaching/activities on the service topic, and then we join together again to conclude the service. Oasis (0-5s) and Oasis Plus (5-11s) Worship and teaching for children. Meets in church on (usually) the first Monday of the month at 2:30 or 3:30. Tel Jan for info: 01454 415280. Oasis Extra (11-13s) and Oasis Onward (14-18s) Groups for young people who want to find out more about Jesus and being a Christian today. Activities, guest speakers, outings… Meets on Sundays in the Church Rooms, 4-5:30pm. It is also a preparation for Confirmation (for those interested). Almondsbury Baby and Toddler Group meets on term-time Tuesdays from 1.45pm to 3.15pm in the Old School Hall, Church Road, Lower Almondsbury BS32 4ED. All babies and preschoolers are welcome to come along (just turn up) with parents/carers and enjoy a very informal time together, with lots of toys, craft and music! Small charge per session. It’s an 8-week course, based round a DVD presentation (with Rob Parsons) followed by an informal discussion. Come and share your experiences, learn from each other and discover some principles for parenthood. Bring your babies and pre-school children along too!
